As editor of A Moment of Ellis it is with a heavy heart that I report the passing of writer Dwayne McDuffie. Among his many accomplishments he was a co-founder of Milestone Media and creator of Marvel’s much loved Damage Control. In later years he wrote/created the Static Shock animated series and he wrote, produced or story edited 69 of the 91 episodes of the awesome animated series Justice League Unlimited. Recently, McDuffie was scriptwriter on the equally excellent JLA:Crisis on Two Earths and on the animated adaptation of Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely’s All-Star Superman(released today).
